“I joined Clinical Partners because, as an independently owned company, it genuinely has a heart for what it does.”
As a Strategic Partnerships Manager, I focus on working collaboratively with stakeholders such as the NHS, ICBs, Trusts, VCS organisations and other key partners. My role centres on building strong, trusted relationships and engaging proactively to grow both existing and new business opportunities. I’m also responsible for writing business proposals and tenders, supporting contract mobilisation, problem‑solving, and ensuring I’m responsive and supportive across different areas of the organisation.
For me, high standards mean being reliable, responsive and proactive. It’s about delivering high‑quality proposals, managing partnerships with integrity, communicating clearly, and ensuring that every interaction—internally and externally—reflects our commitment to doing the right thing for patients and partners. It also means holding myself accountable for tackling issues quickly and professionally.
I joined Clinical Partners because, as an independently owned company, it genuinely has a heart for what it does - both for patients and for staff. It was clear to me that the organisation truly wants to do the right thing, not just say it. I was also excited by the fact that we’re growing and evolving, and I wanted to be part of that journey.
I was pleasantly surprised by how aligned everyone is in their purpose. All my colleagues genuinely care about the patient journey and are committed to making a positive difference. There’s a shared vision that runs through every team, and that’s incredibly motivating.
A good day for me is one where I’m interacting with colleagues, pushing a tender or business proposal over the finish line, or getting a new contract across the line. Even small moments - like making a colleague smile - make the day meaningful. It’s the feeling of progress and collaboration that really energises me.
Working with the NHS can sometimes be challenging because you never quite know what might land in your inbox. We often need to work at pace and juggle multiple priorities. I overcome this by breaking my day into manageable chunks and keeping a clear tick‑list of tasks that I can work through methodically. It helps me stay grounded and focused no matter how busy things get.
I’m really fortunate to have a great line manager who is always available when I need guidance or support. I also work with amazing colleagues across the organisation who are collaborative, knowledgeable and genuinely supportive.
If you believe in our values and want to work for a company with real heart, then join us. It’s a place where you can truly make a difference - for patients, for partners and for each other.
