“Everyone you meet in Clinical Partners is so welcoming and keen to support you.”
I focus on ensuring the clinic provides a high quality, compassionate and efficient service with patient care and safety. I am particularly focused on maintaining a welcoming environment where patients, their families and staff, feel supported. My role involves being responsible for operational management, administration, governance/compliance and budgeting/revenues.
High standards mean creating a safe, welcoming and well managed environment where patients feel supported and respected at every stage of their journey. We are values led and outcomes are measured to ensure high standards. We work to ensure our systems run smoothly and pay attention to detail so that every aspect of the clinic runs with care, efficiency and consistency. We expect each patient and their family to feel listened to and supported regardless of their diagnostic outcome.
OAC went through an acquisition, which means we are now part of the Clinical Partners Group. However, the journey has brought great benefits to the team, and we are grateful to be part of a growing and successful organisation with strong values.
Everyone you meet in Clinical Partners is so welcoming and keen to support you. Despite most staff members working remotely, there is a strong sense of collaboration and shared commitment to providing high quality care.
A good day for me is when the clinic is running smoothly, the team are feeling supported and the patients are being given a positive experience. It is brightened further when parents share their gratitude for the support they have been given, and you can see the positive impact that our care is making to their everyday lives.
Unexpected changes or last-minute adjustments to the schedule can be challenging but having an organised and adaptable team helps ensure we make these adjustments as smoothly and sensitively as possible. Our patients of course can be in significant distress, and our team are here to support where we can. In these moments, it is important for us to remain calm; to actively listen and to ensure they are directed to the right care as quickly as possible.
I am supported through a collaborative team environment where communication is honest and open. Everyone works hard to support each other and strives to achieve the best outcomes for our patients. Additionally, there is strong organisational support, particularly from our business units. Colleagues are always available to help and share knowledge which can make a big difference in a busy environment.
Joining the OAC and Clinical Partners team means becoming a part of a team committed to people's wellbeing - both for our patients and our staff. Our values mean we do the right thing; we are positive, we care deeply and we aim high. If you share these values, and you are looking for somewhere where your work is meaningful, this is an environment you can make a difference in.
