Team Manager

To support our patient focused approach, we have a growing team of support staff that ensure day to day operations of the business run smoothly.

We have an opportunity for a people focused team manager to join our busy contracts team. The job’s main purpose is to manage a small team of people, overseeing the daily operations and tasks as well as holding 1-1 and team meetings in order to support our team of administrators.

Although this is a hybrid role, the successful candidate will be required to attend the office in Semley, near Shaftesbury, regularly. You will ideally be located within an hour of our office and you will need access to your own transport.

  Role and Responsibilities:

To ensure a consistent and effective administration service is always maintained throughout the team.Support Operations Managers to coordinate and implement all administrative processes along the patient pathway. Ensure all staff in the team are appropriately trained and aware of the necessary levels of customer service.Ensure any complaints received are recorded and processed promptly. Escalate details of any delays within the administration process which will affect the patient journey or delivery of clinical services to Operations Managers. Ensure all administrators maintain accurate and up to date records, ensuring accuracy of patient notes. Provide necessary cross-cover for other team members, this could include booking patient appointments. Identify safeguarding concerns and escalate according to Clinical Partners safeguarding policy.

   Requirements:

Previous management or supervisory experienceProven ability to work to deadlines, prioritise and multi-task.Good knowledge across a range of administrative work procedures including non-routine elementsExcellent knowledge of MS OfficeGood communication and organisational skillsClear understanding of the need to maintain confidentiality in all areas of workAbility to work independently and part of a team whilst under pressure and adhering to strict deadlinesExperience of providing information in various formats. Understanding of NHS contract performance targets. Significant relevant experience linked to a clinical environment.Knowledge of mental health terminology Experience of working for a health or social care organizationKnowledge of Salesforce
