Social Worker

We are looking for highly experienced Social Workers to join our team and play a key role in conducting autism assessments for our patients.

You will specialise in offering autism assessments to children, adolescents, and adults, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure an accurate diagnosis using the ADOS and ADI-R assessment tools.

Our clinicians are experienced mental health professionals who work with us to deliver the highest standards of patient care. You must have relevant clinical qualification and current registration as well as experience using ADI-R in a diagnostic setting.

We will provide you with clinically suitable patients, triaged by our experienced team.  We take care of the appointment booking, patient questionnaires, and administration, leaving you free to focus on what you do best: patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough autism assessments, using the ADOS / ADI-R tools. Collaborate with psychologists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive evaluations. Develop detailed assessment reports and provide clear, evidence-based diagnoses. Communicate assessment outcomes to individuals and families in a clear and compassionate manner. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

Clinical qualification with at least 3 years post qualification experience in a similar position. Current registration with a statutory body Experience in conducting autism assessments and working with individuals with autism. Training and relevant experience in ADI-R / ADOS Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to working with individuals and families.
