Patient Administrator

We are a seeking an Patient Administrator to join our friendly team located on the outskirts of Oxford. Oxford ADHD and Autism Centre (part of the Clinical Partners Group) are dedicated to providing high quality services to our patients. As we continue to grow and expand our services, we are seeking an organised Patient Administrator to join our team.

As the Patient Administrator you will play a crucial role at our Headington Clinic in providing administrative support within the team, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our centres day to day. You will be responsible for reception cover and managing patient bookings whilst providing essential support to our healthcare professionals.

Role & Responsibilities:

Deliver quality communication to provide an excellent patient experience.Advise patients and families on upcoming appointments. Assist in the booking process to streamline appointment scheduling, including corresponding with GP’s, taking payment for appointments in advance and gather necessary information ahead of appointments.Support the secretarial team in processing clinical letters.Maintain accurate records of patient prescriptions and manage secure posting or collection.Cover reception, handling calls, and processing payments.Assist with other general administrative duties as required by the Practice Manager.

Experience:

​Computer literate including, but not limited to, Email, MS Word and ExcelExcellent customer service skillsPolite telephone manner
Attention to detailStrong organisational skillsTeam playerExperience with managing diariesRelevant experience linked to a clinical and or mental health environment is desirable Knowledge of health care settings or mental
health

This role is offered as a full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am – 5.30pm position. The successful candidate may be required to work 1 Saturday per month.  As you will be required to work from our Headington clinic daily, we advise that transport is essential.
