If so, we have an exciting opportunity for an NHS Contracting Specialist/Lead to join our dynamic NHS Partnerships Team at Clinical Partners, a leading mental health service provider.
The successful candidate will oversee the lifecycle of all NHS contracts ensuring all aspects of NHS contracts are managed effectively and in compliance with relevant regulations, with robust systems in place for recording, monitoring, and reporting on the multifactorial elements of contracts and associated risks.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a strong understanding of NHS contracts, procurement rules and regulations and proven experience of managing bids, tenders and contracts within the healthcare sector, preferably within the NHS mental health services.

Key responsibilities:
Oversee and negotiate NHS contracts on behalf of the company, ensuring compliance and accuracy Work with NHS contract managers in line with the NHS contracting guidance and the new NHS procurement (PSR) rules Manage the intricate details of contracts with NHS partners, maintaining a detail-driven approach Collaborate with the NHS operational team, particularly the NHS Delivery Performance Manager, to ensure KPIs and service specifications are met Work with the governance team and Data Protection Officer (DPO) to ensure all data sharing agreements and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) are accurate and robust Maintain strong working relationships with Strategic Partnership Managers, Directors of NHS Partnerships, Finance colleagues and the Non-Executive Director (Legal) Manage eligibility queries regarding non-contracted activity conducted under the Choice Framework (RTC) Independently work with the Finance Managers to align financial aspects with contract requirements
Requirements:
Relevant degree or professional qualification in contract management, procurement, law, or a related fieldProven experience of leading contract negotiation and management, within the healthcare sector, preferably in NHS mental health servicesExtensive experience with NHS contracts, procurement rules, and regulationsProven track record of managing bids, tenders, and contract processes.

Remuneration and Benefits:
This role is a full-time, remote role with occasional travel to attend departmental and NHS meetings.
