Our Neurodevelopmental Team have vacancies for ADOS trained clinicians in the Birmingham area. You will join our established team of clinicians to deliver ADOS assessments in our Birmingham clinic.
We work with the leading neuro-developmental specialists and have recently developed an updated pathway for our Autism assessments that combines the ADI-R and ADOS-2 tests.
We are looking for clinicians with qualifications or registrations in Psychology (Counselling/ Clinical/ Education or Forensic) Occupational Therapy or Nursing and experience in autism diagnostic assessment (ADOS-2).
You will be given access to our spacious consulting rooms in the Birmingham area as well as full support from our qualified triage team and an industry leading digital platform that streamlines the experience for both yourself and your patient – removing much of the administrative requirement and helping to improve patient outcomes.
The core element of the role will be to deliver face to face ADOS assessments. Reporting to our Medical Director, the job plan will include;
ADOS assessments Working with our multidisciplinary team to confer and reach diagnosis Report writing
As this position requires face to face assessments, you must be able to work in our consulting rooms in the Birmingham area to be considered. The working hours will mostly be across Friday’s and weekends.
Required qualifications and experience
Clinical qualification and registration At least 3 years experience post qualification in a similar positionCurrent Registration with a statutory bodyTraining and relevant experience in ASD (ADOS trained) Evidence of Indemnity Insurance Legal right to work in the UK Enhanced DBS check (less than 3 years old) Excellent communication and report writing skills Evidence of recent Safeguarding training – Level 2 or above
