Internal Communications Manager

We have an exciting opportunity at Clinical Partners, one of the UK’s leading providers of mental health services, to play an important role in managing an enhancing internal communications throughout the company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication plans, acting as a facilitator between leadership, management and employees to promote engagement and understanding and ensure that key messages and information are effectively delivered across the organisation. 

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Alongside the Head of Marketing Communications, develop and execute an internal communication strategy aligned with the organisation’s goals, values and objectives. 
• Work with colleagues in the communications team and other stakeholders to gather input and insight to create a compelling communication plan, create engaging and informative content for various internal communications channels. 
• Manage and maintain internal communication platforms, ensuring content is up to date, relevant and accessible whilst maintaining a consistent tone. 
• Oversee the use of digital tools and platforms for internal communications, such as collaboration tools, intranet systems and social media platforms in order reach and engage different employee groups across all locations. 
• Monitor and measure effectiveness of communication channels and make data-driven recommendations for improvements. 
• Develop communication plans and strategies to support organizational changes such as acquisitions, restructures, and new initiatives. 
• Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction through effective communication and encouragement of a transparent culture. 
• Establish metrics and methods to evaluate the effectiveness of communication efforts, analyse data and feedback to assess impact. 

Requirements:
Essential:
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, or a related field. 
• Proven experience in internal communications, preferably in a managerial role.
• Demonstrated knowledge of change management principles and techniques.
• Ability to connect to company values and vision.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to align communication efforts with organizational goals.
• Proficient in using various digital communication tools, social media platforms, and intranet systems.
• Strong storytelling and content creation abilities, with a focus on clarity, creativity, and engagement.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to measure and evaluate communication effectiveness. 
Desirable:
• Master’s degree in communications, Public Relations or a related field.
• Experience of working within a healthcare environment or similar regulated environment.
• Experience in a fast-growing company where change is the norm.
