As the HR Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and enhancing our HR functions. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. You will work closely with the HR leadership team to implement comprehensive policies, processes, and systems essential to the employee lifecycle. This role is crucial in delivering an outstanding, compliant, and effective HR service to all stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
Ensure that HR provide an efficient, accurate and effective service to line managers and employees, ensuring that queries are dealt with quickly and accurately.Line management of HR Operations Administrators and team leads, currently a team of 5.Oversee and ensure a legally compliant and accurate onboarding service, adhering to extensive CQC and safer recruitment guidelines.Develop, create and implement HR policies, template letters, manager’s guides, contracts of employment and other associated HR templates that meet legislative requirements and best practice and ensure that any training requirements from the policies are understood and met.Oversee and manage the administrative elements of all probation reviews, family leave requests (maternity, paternity, shared parental leave, adoption etc), flexible working requestsAdvise managers on policy related questions such as types of leave (carers leave, maternity, dependants leave), sickness absence, probation reviews and escalate to HR Business Partners where further support is identified.
Requirements:
CIPD Level 5 or 7 qualified or equivalent experienceProven experience of working in a generalist HR management role5+ years of experience in HR administration, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/management roleExperience in supporting payroll processes Ability to work strategically to maximise operational effectiveness Proven experience of achieving personal and team goals, objectives and KPIsExperience of creating, developing and embedding HR policies, processes and systems.

This role is a full-time, hybrid role working from our office in Semley,1 day per week.
