Accounts Payables Lead

As Accounts Payable Lead, you will play a vital role in managing our financial commitments to clinicians and suppliers. Responsibilities will include reconciling statements, processing invoices, resolving queries, and collaborating closely with internal teams, clinicians, and suppliers to ensure timely payments. We are seeking an experienced candidate with the confidence to take ownership and lead this critical function autonomously.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and reconcile clinician statements monthly, collaborating with internal teams and clinicians to resolve queries promptly.Validate agency invoices for clinicians hired through intermediaries, ensuring accurate recording in Salesforce for prompt payment.Monitor the supplier invoice portal to ensure all invoices are registered and posted to relevant accounting software.Review supplier accounts, resolve queries, obtain missing invoices, and reconcile to supplier statements periodically.Process and pay employee expense reimbursements monthly, ensuring compliance with company policies.Review, process, and reconcile corporate credit card transactions in Xero monthly.Provide support to other Finance team members, including preparing reconciliation schedules for month-end reporting.

What we’d like from you;

Educated at A-level or equivalent qualifications in relevant subjects such as Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. Previous experience in an Accounts Payable Supervisor/Lead role. Generalist experience in reconciling accounts, processing invoices, and managing supplier relationships. Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements in relation to financial transactions. Able to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels of the business. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with internal teams, clinicians, and suppliers. Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively to meet tight deadlines.
